About the Project
Bring increased awareness of issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion to the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CS&D), specifically in Speech Pathology and Audiology
Increase diversity in the field of CS&D as a whole
Create a paid internship for 2 high school students, which will take place during the summer of 2022
Choose 1 student from Madison West, and 1 student from La Follette
Internship will take place in the Cognitive-Communication in Aging and Neurogenic Disorders Laboratory (CCANDL) research lab on the UW-Madison campus
