Welcome to the CCANDL Internship Website
This website is the informational hub for The NSSLHA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Research Internship Project! NSSLHA (National Student Speech Language Hearing Association) was awarded this Wisconsin Idea Fellowship by the Morgridge Center of Public Service for the 2021-2022 academic year. The Morgridge Center prepares students to be their best civic selves by building capacity, in partnership with the community, to address complex problems locally and globally. The project is led by Sanjana Kumar and Julia Zacher. They are working toward increasing awareness and diversity in the fields of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CS&D) by creating a summer internship for two high school students to work in the Cognitive-Communication in Aging and Neurogenic Diseases Laboratory (CCANDL) under Dr. Kim Mueller.
